Met a friend and her daughter at @megansrestaurants in Surbiton today for a coffee and it was such an easy, enjoyable meet-up. Loads of mums and babies around, plenty of space to settle in, and no stress about whether the pram would fit (it does).

The food and coffee are genuinely delicious, and the relaxed setup makes it one of those places where you can actually sit and chat while the little ones are happy. The Surbiton Megan’s has a small play area mid-week (as long as there isn’t an event on), which makes weekday coffee dates feel like a win.

We’ve also been as a family on weekends and had a great time too. Works just as well with two kids in tow (ours are 3 & 4).

Megan’s has local locations in Surbiton and Kingston, and while the play space is just Surbiton mid-week, it’s a lovely, family-friendly spot worth visiting any day of the week 💛

Sometimes the best days out are the ones with no pressure at all ✨

Not every day has to be packed with activities or perfectly planned. Simply changing the scene, going for a walk, and maybe grabbing a coffee or lunch can turn into the most amazing day.

Here we did the Isle of Wight just for the day, and it was exactly that kind of magic. We went to our favourite lunch spot at @thecowtapnellfarm with loads of space for the kids to run free and spot animals, we threw rocks on the beach, and spent some time visiting family.

And honestly? The ferry itself is a huge event 😂
Beautiful views, excitement the whole way over, and depending on which ferry you get, sometimes there’s even a soft play onboard - instant win.

Winter days can feel long and cold, but wrapping up warm and heading out on an adventure can make such special memories 💛

🎮 We tried out the newest local arcade, @urbanfunkingston and it was such a win!

I’ll be honest… I wasn’t totally sure how it would go as my kids are young, but we went right when they opened on the weekend and it was PERFECT 🙌

It was nice and quiet, there was something for everyone, and the boys were obsessed with every single game 🤩 No overwhelming crowds, no rushing around – just lots of smiles and fun.

We’ll definitely be back, especially now that the colder weather is here. A great indoor option for little ones and definitely older kids too!
